    Participants will learn essential wheel-throwing techniques, including centering clay, shaping forms, and creating functional pottery such as bowls, cups, or small pots. No prior experience is required, and all materials and tools are provided.

    THROWING INTENSIVE

    Intermediate Wheel Throwing Intensive with Noël Yardley

    Take your pottery skills to the next level in this focused wheel-throwing intensive led by ceramic artist Noël Yardley. Designed for potters with previous wheel experience, this three-week workshop provides concentrated instruction and hands-on practice to help you refine your technique, improve consistency, and gain greater confidence at the pottery wheel.

    Over three Saturday morning sessions, you'll focus on the essential foundations of successful wheel throwing, including centering, control, form development, and creating stronger, more consistent ceramic pieces. Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individualized feedback, Noël will help you identify areas for improvement and develop techniques that elevate your throwing practice.

    This skill-building pottery course is ideal for students who have completed beginner pottery classes or have prior wheel-throwing experience and are looking to deepen their understanding of ceramic form and craftsmanship.
