Build skills in ceramics while designing and producing your own practical ware and expressive sculptural forms.
The Foundational Courses introduce essential studio techniques, including slab construction, coil methods, and guided instruction on the potter’s wheel. Students also explore surface treatments, finishing methods, and kiln-ready preparation to develop strong technical fundamentals.
The Intermediate Course is tailored for returning students and practiced makers seeking to refine precision, increase scale, and explore complex forms. Emphasis is placed on advanced wheel skills, form development, and elevating craftsmanship through focused studio practice.

Eight weeks of self-discovery. Learn to work with clay, creating your own pieces, functional and sculptural. The basics of working with clay, handbuilding and wheel-throwing as well as decoration and glazing techniques will be covered in the course.
Cost is $565+HST and includes all firings and materials.
